The Casino game you're referring to is not exactly the same. There are some differences. The game inspired me however because when I saw it in Vegas I said to myself, "Now, that's how a computer Blackjack game is supposed to look like." so, when I decided to write "Black Jack Pro" there was no question that it would have to follow the same visual approach.
The main differences between the machine and our game is that we simulate real Casino table Blackjack. The machine doesn't. It always deals every hand from a newly shuffled deck, for example, and payouts are different, too, because the machine doesn't break dollars. It only pays out full dollars, not 50 cents. It removes the edge a natural Blackjack gives you because it pays like a regular hand on those machines. There are a few other things that are different.
"Doubling Up" is the subgame you're referring to. It is just a fancy gimmick they added to these machines to make sure they get your money even though you won the hand. I'm not a friend of that at all, and further, it has nothing to do with Blackjack. Because with "Black Jack Pro" I tried to recreate a real table game so that people can play and practice the game the way it is actually played at the tables I decided not to include "Doubling Up" as a feature.
As for your last question, no, we did not make the Casino version. |
